MISSION STATEMENT
Ken and Allen are not your typical radio talk-show guys. They have a history: high school buddies, car enthusiasts, music lovers, and travelers through, and participants in, some of the most tumultuous decades in our nation’s history. Both have a unique background, and perspective. Both are uncommon men with blue collar roots. Not given to pretentiousness, they believe that, while a formal education is important, nothing is a better teacher than experience. Join them in their discussions of those issues that they believe are most important to the majority of Americans: the cost of living, taxes, safe communities, public education, jobs, family values, and time with family and friends. They are not only prepared to talk about topics like politics, national defense, and global warming, but also food, cars, physical fitness, movies, music and the “celebrities” that the main stream media think are so important. They are willing to consider any tasteful topic for discussion. Their delivery is crisp, intelligent, at times humorous, and always entertaining. When you tune in, be prepared for a challenge. This is not a program for the lazy who expect to have someone else tell them what to think. Ken and Allen will take an issue and break it down. They will discuss and explain it without trying to “razzle-dazzle,” so that the average person can understand it. They don’t care if you agree with either of their positions, as long as your conclusion is based on the facts and your own sound judgment. (We used to call that “common sense”).
